It is a process of awakening to your current perspectives, experimenting with alternative perspectives, and recognizing all the possibilities associated with a chosen perspective. Life Coaching is a process in which you deepen your learning, and move through fear into clarity.
My approach to coaching is to collaborate with you in an effective and trusted partnership. We work to discover your agenda, and to move you skillfully and intuitively through a thought-provoking and creative process. This process powerfully inspires and supports your desired change.
Our coach-client relationship is honest, confidential, and courageous. Circumstances can and will change if you have the desire for that change and are ready to create your true vision and follow through with real action.
As your coach, I provide a positive and secure environment for you to explore your vision, to be curious, to deepen your understanding, to learn new skills, to honor your values, declare your goals, be accountable, make desired changes, and to live your life the way you intend it.
Being a skilled professional coach and licensed therapist, I integrate powerful questions, active listening, reflected clarity, intuition, a co-created course of action, encouraging support, mutually designed accountability, acknowledgement, and a range of creative tools to help a client deepen their understanding of themselves and take the actions needed to achieve true fulfillment
During our discovery session we will design our coaching partnership, talk about where you are now, your feelings and thoughts, and explore your vision of yourself and your future. You will choose several areas of focus that you want to address, while creating greater balance and fulfillment in all areas of your life.
After this initial session, we will meet in person or by phone for three 30-minute coaching sessions each month, or two 45-minute coaching sessions per month. In each session we will work with your chosen topic for that day, and check in on progress in your areas of primary focus. Each coaching session will end with you thinking about and/or an agreed-upon action step for you to move forward in the time between sessions.
Between sessions you will be integrating your coaching work into your life and you will have my email support as needed. I ask for a commitment to the two-hour discovery session and a three-month coaching period. Some clients complete their chosen goals in three months while others continue on with their coaching support.
